It strangely resembles the car from fantasy island!

zonblitz 06-13-2008 11:44 PM

Ready for the paint booth!

SHPmainMAN 06-14-2008 01:27 AM

N.RotaryTech 06-17-2008 12:04 PM

What are the blocks of wood on? It looks like they are under the rotor.

Lower control arm/susp.

WE3RX7 06-18-2008 12:03 PM

Wow - that was a good amount of work to be done in a somewhat short period of time. At least now I know what color your car was :)

I'm assuming you're keeping the color the same? That interior will need some elbow grease after its all done too...

All of this will give that DSport magazine something to write about too...

Nice article in Modified. I picked up a copy ;)

Mention RCC next time!!!

Oh, and good work on getting it back together.

zonblitz 07-09-2008 09:10 PM

Ok a few more of the rebuild...

beware most taken with phone...

zonblitz 07-09-2008 09:13 PM

couple more...

last pic, just thought that was cool.

Phoenix7 07-09-2008 10:12 PM

shaved door handles?

Good job on a quick fix.

TypeSL_T 07-10-2008 08:20 AM

The door handles on an FD are right next to the window. They aren't on the door skin.

well yeah but I saw the pillar and thought he removed it. Looks like it's covered in plastic?

i thought the same thing.. i often look at my car and wonder how it would look like that.

Phoenix7 07-10-2008 06:30 PM

meh, the FD looks clean as it is, I'm not sure many would notice though.

lwnslw 07-13-2008 09:15 PM

Love that color... BTW... I picked up a copy of Modified as well....

ouch, what happened?

I am a fan of the Vertex kit. Subtle yet not stock.

This one has 35mm overfenders but it's $2k. Dunno if you have access to it.

SHPmainMAN 07-15-2008 06:05 PM

im liking the FEED wides or the Burnout Kit... and they are cheaper. Yea i was taking painkillers (oxycodon) for a real bad ear infection and i decided i was alright to drive... wrong. Backed right up into a light pole

Phoenix7 07-15-2008 06:18 PM

ouch. I guess the 7 still counts as heavy machinery! better a pole than another car!

I really don't know much about what's available out there. I love the feed widebody kit on Zonblit's car because it flows perfectly with the body likes, like the vertex widebody.

SHPmainMAN 07-16-2008 05:29 PM

ive been wanting the FEED kit forever, and then i seen that modified issue where the entire car was FEED... i was so excited. BTW has anyone heard from zonblits in a while?

Phoenix7 07-16-2008 06:34 PM

watch, next thing you know he's going to post finished pics.

zonblitz 07-22-2008 08:04 PM

Yep, good guess!

Except I'm going to wait till this weekend to take some good ones at the show.

The paint looks great! Better than before imo. more depth and good shine.

I am going to have somewhat of a crazy decal job this show though due to the newest sponsor, FEED. care of the only FEED direct supplier in the U.S. http://www.pmimarketinginc.com/fujita/new/index.php

Going to have a huge FEED on the side, on and angle over the doors. Not my style but they gave some sweet goodies!

Not too bad, just over 3 months.

Phoenix7 07-22-2008 09:08 PM

USE MAGNETS AND FELT so it's removable!!!

zonblitz 07-06-2015 09:53 AM
