Some update pics ... Finally... :)
She is fitted in the engine bay, had to make some adjustments. Moved her back 2 inches, to have my t56 trans shifter location come up right at the opening. Some update. Doing some mock ups.
Measuring to se what what size intercooler to run, how the radiator will sit best/ oil coolers .. etc.. ^^Yep, That dry sump cover is pretty penny... To_Slow, where are you going to put the sump tank?? Inside the car or in the bay?

The dry sump cover is a nice penny,but can you see how far down the motor sits in the bay?.:) Close to 1.1/2 inch down from standard fd 20b mount.
The dry sump tank.... I originally wanted to put it behind the driver seat.. But running the lines under the car -16-12-12. than gas lines -10-8 -8... lol So it will go behind the driver oil cooler. It will be a custom made one, To get it to sit the best and have the most oil capacity it can have... Coming this year to Deals gap with it, slight chance. Will be there in the Rx8... 2011 for sure. I had this car with this set up in my head and in the part collection for 4-5 years now. Trust me, I WANT TO GET IT DONE lol... Will have some more pics soon, At the moment placing all the front electrical boxes/ fuses and new relays in the bin. And removing about a mile of wire and connectors that it does not need... Not FUN.... Happy Holidays |

there is a guy near me running a 20b pp with twin gt4088r's, its actually a lot better to drive than I expected. I think with a decent ECU and map it is possible to make a very nice weekend toy:driving:

Well here some update.. After 200hr's of body work and prepping for paint this is what she looks like( just painted this morning)... About 50hr's more for wet sand and the paint chapter is closed.. That engine is ridonkulous! Not sure about the gold paint though...hmmm. It looks like a damn good paintjob, just kinda hurts my eyes LOL.
