wanted to try and repaint the faded interior pieces. mainly the back half of the car. SEM makes over 50 colors to color match interiors. wasn't sure what color to get. found a website that list what colors to use to match the rx7 interiors. ended up getting graphite color. looks very nice and looks like the right color but I haven't held it up to a non faded piece to see if it truly matches.

the brake booster was nasty and rusted but it works fine. a reman is $100. so I used a wire wheel and took it down to bare metal and painted it with single stage black paint that I had laying around. came out awesome.

Rather than trying to remember how to post pictures I just host mine on Flickr and paste the link for the chosen size picture where I want it to be. Much easier for us mnemonically challenged people. ;)

It looks like you're trying to "link" them (via [IMG] tags) straight off your computer.

You can't do that.

You need a (pic) hosting site, like Flickr or Photobucket...
Upload / dump the pics in there, and grab the links which allow you to cut&paste into here...

so I have a few sets of tail lights. not in the best of shape. was going to take them apart and clean everything and then build one nice set out of 3. my issue is the rubber molding that goes around the edge of the lens are all dry rotted and cracked. searched for awhile and came across a set of lights on ebay Australia. they are used and have been in storage for 15 years. have not seen day light in 15 years. they were pricey but when I got them they were perfect. rubber is still brand new.

That was a really nice find. Those are very hard to find in that kind of shape. It is looking awesome.

budfc3s 08-08-2015 09:58 AM

i also found a brand new tail light still in the box on ebay Australia. i forget which side but it was going for a little more then the pair that i bought. if they had both lights new in the box i would of bought them
