Quick question for you guys. I have a choice between taking I65, or I75.
Anybody have an opinion on which is the more "pleasant" highway to drive? Thanks. :) |

Heres my personal schedule (could change without notice)
Thursday - arrive, setup camp, enjoy the sunset and have a cold brew Friday - Cracker Barrel breakfast, wander around the Mitty tents, bbq some brats for lunch, if theres a parade lap do that, watch racing, go to the free Mazda key party for food and some cold brew. Saturday - Cracker Barrel breakfast, wander around the Mitty tents, bbq some brats for lunch, if theres a parade lap do that, watch racing, go to the free Hella day into night party for food and some cold brew (see the patterns here :D ) Sunday - Cracker Barrel breakfast, await DGRR folks, attempt record breaking parade lap, bbq some lunch, watch some racin, head for home around 3 p.m. Throughout any of this time I may break out my stout and cider for impromptu tastings and debauchery. You've been warned. |
I'm busy packing as we speak. I'm bring 24 beers and 9 ciders. That should hold us for bit.
I'll heading out within the hour. Anyone who wants to exchange cell phone numbers PM me before 2:45 and I'll make a note of them. Looks like Friday may be a light turnout, but saturday will be the full crew and then some more on Sunday. Can't wait. |
Woohoo! Heading out now. Anyone that wants to get a hold of me, just PM ray green, or BigIslandSevens for my cell phone. I may not answer for the next
3 hours due the excellent rotary symphony and open windows of my car but leave a message and I can call you back around 6:30 or so. If anyone wants to get a quick bite to eat around Braselton tonight I'm all ears. I should be available after 7 sometime. |
Great weekend over all! I don't think we could have asked for better weather. In case anyone is curious I am told we DID NOT make the world record for most Mazdas on a track at one time. Apparently that's currently held by some New Zealand Miata club but we did manage a N. American record.
It was good to meet some of you even though I couldn't have my car there. I especially enjoyed talking to the older guys with race experience as it really gave me some insight for my upcoming "build". For those who don't know me (everyone) I was the tool running around and directing a lot of the parking at the Mazda corral (Reds hat on Saturday, blue "way out" shirt on Sunday). |
All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:35 PM. |
