David, what is your overall opinion of the BNR Stage 3 manifold? Can you work some "magic" with it? ;)

I do not know what Brian is doing with the manifold. But I have taken his 3rd stage turbos and reworked the four cast iron parts to get a great set up .Brians work is tops as far as I have seen. And I have had other venders sets as well .

my car is currently equipped with a billet aluminum turbo from Precision. i got the 6262 T4 w/ .81 A/R. from what i hear billets spool up pretty quick and that Garrett has jumped in with this new tech as well.

if you go single, maybe you should look into them. as for myself, i havent seen a difference yet but thats because my car isn't ready. if they spool up faster i will be sure to post about it :)

I know this is an older questions, but I am sure others are wondering...

A good Gt35R turbo system should be at 15psi by 3200rpms in 4th gear..

i went with a 62-1 from turbonetics and undersized the ar ratio. with the ceramic ball bearings i am at full boost a 3krpm.

Spool time will also depend on your intercooler configuration.

I'm currently building my GT35R setup.... Same setup as CrispyRx7's.... Made 422whp on 15psi. with a SP engine.

I will be running a RE Vmount setup with a stock port engine. Should be interesting to see how the spool is.

I vote 35R. Going single has many advantages. Yes, the spool is slower than the twins, but with the right configuration, it can be quite fast. Get that heat factory out of there. Go single with water injection & a good tune. Your engine will thank you....
