I liked my 82 GS better than my 85 GSL-SE. The SE seemed "heavy" even though is only weighed about 100 lbs more.

well you dont have one :) I would kill for one of them I am actually considering on taking myne and getting it stamped like that.

Whizbang 09-12-2008 08:28 AM

i wonder who would actually do custom lovering. I had an isuzu impulse JR turbo (1988 model year) with louvers in the hood. Obviously, someone had to do it.

P71 09-12-2008 09:27 AM

Street rod builders/shops still do it.

Whizbang 09-12-2008 09:29 AM

ill have to investigate some options. I think the JDM hood is little over the top with louvering though.

It was made by a performance shop in the UK. I believe Elford (forgot the first name) raced a rotary or 2 at Le Mans.

Couple of pages from the brochure

edit: fixed link

^Links don't work.

You also can't forget the Pacific Avatar as well (far from my favorite, though).

My personal favorite is, was, and always will be Directfreak's FB. Go figure I'd be planning the same swap into my FB.

For some reason I can't find any pics of his FB though. Tornado Silver, 13B-RE swap, GSL-SE.
