Damn!! way worse than I expected to see. Someone upstairs was looking out for you, if the car hadn't slid the tires would have went over the roof.

BTW... If you wanted to drive a vert Brian would prob let you as soon as its done.

Holy shit Kyle that looks horrible!!! I'm glad you two made it ok out of that wreck! Looks like it could have gone much much worse!

hades 04-30-2012 06:55 PM

holy fuck. Thank god no one got killed or maimed.

How many people freaked out?

All things considered you guys are very lucky!! Cars can be replaced. Glad you guys are alive & unharmed

Pete_89T2 04-30-2012 09:06 PM

^That. It's a miracle you guys walked out of that wreck unharmed. If I were you, I'd be playing the lottery now.

Raksj04 04-30-2012 11:18 PM

I wonder if the car wasn't lowered if it would have been worse? I would say you were very lucky and i bet you would have at least a broken hand or arm if you didn't let go of the wheel. that was good thinking.

Glad no one got seriously hurt. Did it have a cage or just a harness bar?

RX SE7EN 05-01-2012 08:02 AM

glad you're ok, good thing that trailer didn't decide to hop over the car.

FD time?

budfc3s 05-01-2012 08:27 AM

had just a harness bar which helped so much...the bar was untouched....the rear triangle strut bar folded downward in a u-shape which helped prevent the back from crushing more...the car was lowered just enough...a few inches higher the roof and our heads would have been taken off...the trucker knew i was hitting him so he already locked the brakes up which provented the trailer from driving over the car which would have killed us....for the type of crash everything worked out in our favor so we could walk away...im not a religous person but someone or something is watching out for me...thats 2 bad crashes in 3 years that i should have died in and i walked away untouched...this is a big eye opener.

its the only time in my life that i really thought i was going to die...i cant explain how it felt as it happened it all happened so quick
i knew i destroyed my tires and brakes at DGRR...and i still preceded to act up in the car...i almost killed my self and my best friend for my stupidity..and could have also endangered more lives in other vehicles...a car is a car...im so grateful that we both walked away with only scratches.

Really glad both you and Justin walked away from that. Looks like it could have been so much worse.

Good thing the trucker was aware and saw it coming!

i learned alot from this experience...i hope others can learn from it too. All it takes is one slip up and you not only endanger yourself but others on the road...i will forever respect the power of a car when i drive it and keep my passengers and others on the road in my mind as to not endanger anyone for my actions....theres alot of what ifs when it comes to this situation.

Holy shit!

FC looked great at DGRR. Good to hear you guys are OK. FC's are a dime a dozen, so who gives a shit in comparison to your life.

I can also respect a man who takes responsibility for his actions.

X2
You could just as easily be on here cursing the truck driver, it is a huge show of character to accept responsibility for this. Nothing is more eye opening than a near death experience; I have had my few too, we play around with very lethal toys. So glad you came out ok, good luck on the future build!
