FYI, there may still be some registration glitches on the site. Yesterday afternoon I registered myself to the DGRR event; I already received my Paypal receipt, but I did not receive any other confirmation emails from the site as was done in the past with the discount code for Nantahalla village and other info.

Also the forum registration process didn't complete for me either. It let me enter my info - username, PW, email, etc., but I never received the confirmation link email that enables you to use the account. Username is the same as here, "pete_89T2", and I did enter my correct email address and checked the spam folder for the email.

Same here, registered Wednesday. Got a paypal receipt but no confirmation.

Registered for the new forum last night but still no activation e-mail.

Jack

I'll look into the email thing. It's strange that some people are getting the emails and others aren't

nope, no thank you page.
Thanks for working on it! :driving:

Last time I checked the whose coming link wasn't working.

I should have the forums email notification fixed. I'm working on the paypal confirmation.

I need to know if anyone has been directed to the "Thank You" page after registering for the event.

If you want to have the forums resend your confirmation email, just log into the forums, and it will ask if you want to have it resent.
I'll make a new form on the website to recover the lodge code.

When I registered for DGRR, I do recall it directing me to a "Thank You" page, it said something about you can print the page for your records but a copy will be sent to your registration email. Since I wasn't hooked up to a printer, I figured I could wait for the email.

I'll try logging on to the forum & let you know what happens.

OK, just tried having the forum resend the activation email, no worky - here's the message it returned after I entered my username and email address as prompted:

"Information

The e-mail/username information submitted could not be found."

Yea, your cabin code was on that page.

I think maybe you were trying to recover your password instead of resending your confirmation. That's the message you get when you try to recover the password on an inactive account. I'll add a more convenient link for resending the confirmation under the recover password link.

reddozen 12-03-2011 05:08 PM

i'll make a way to get your cabin code

Ok, I got the forum working. Used the same "resend activation" link, but it worked this time. Now I just need to get that cabin code

mouse over the "registration" link at the top of the page. there's a "Recover Resort Code" link now.

I don't have the Paypal Confirmation Number. But I have the
Unique Transaction ID. It says, "can not find your paypal transaction".
Anything else I can do?
Thanks for your help.

I tried that, it asked for a "Paypal Confirmation #". The paypal email I received only has a "transaction ID#", which is what I entered, and the website responded with a "cannot find your paypal transaction":banghead:

Worst case, I guess I can forward you my Paypal receipt, maybe that would help?

djmtsu 12-03-2011 09:33 PM

I don't recall getting any kind of confirmation either. No worries.

I did try to register for the actual website forum, but have not received by confirmation email for that, so I cannot log in. I am sad face.

if you dont mind doing that, i can try and match up the number on that receipt to our database... This is so frustrating. It has to do with the fact that the PHP isnt sending out the emails in an SMTP transaction, so your webservers are blocking the email. >_<

I'm trying to work on a way of forcing the forums to send the email. hat way they would be forcing through an SMTP backed email.
