I have looked at their site and cant seem to find the 5 lug conversion or a price on it. I talked to a local machine shop and was told that for between 3-4 hundred dollars I should be able to get all four corners redrilled.

Or you could spend half that on the front big brake kit by RE-Speed (the conversion kit) http://mrcmfg.com/catalog/product_in...products_id=37, add in some junkyard TurboII calipers, some cheap rotors and the stainless steel brake lines, some and decent pads and you've got better front brakes and the 5X114.3 bolt pattern that will give you the wheel options. Also in case you aren't aware, the front hubs are part of the brake rotor and the area that the lug screws into is thicker than the surrounding area of the hub. Unless your machinist is also a phenomenally skilled welder that can add material inside a ver narrow space, you probably won't have much peace of mind and will run the risk of serious damage, injury or death. RE-Speed also offers Moser axles that can be drilled any bolt pattern you want.

+1 on the RE-Speed.

but how much am I looking at for a full re-speed setup? Cuz based on what I need according to you guys I will be in to that setup $700+
|
It may be a little more money to begin with getting the Re-Speed setup but in the end you will have a better setup. Plus you won't have to worry about having the rotors drilled every time they need to be replaced.
The other way you could go would be with a GSL-SE suspension setup and get 4x114. |
I have my full gsl-se swap that I have ready to bolt in basicly that I would go super cheap on and its got new everything. s.s. lines, hawk hp pads, new rotors, new bearings and its all been sandblasted, the front spindles were powder coated and the rear axel was primered and painted. the front calipers were epoxy coated and so were all the rotor hats, (didnt get to do the rear calipers :( ) and also have full set of volk wheels with new bfg tires that would complete your car :) 1000 bux for it all (i have more in the se swap than that)

If I had a spare grand in cash I would buy that from ya but I just dont have the cash to spare right now.
|
If you don't have the money to do the job right then I suggest you hold off for a bit and save up. Better to spend a little more and have nothing to worry about.
