Installed poly PS, control arm, and sway bar bushings.

New ball joint boots.

New inner and outer tie rods, and new steering rack boots.

New adjustable sway bar end links, and sway bar mounts as well.

Still need to sand blast/paint the lower control arms and install the new bushings.

Sexy!!! I've always wanted to pull/blast/recoat the subframe and stuff... I'm jelly.

:awesome: Your arbor press has enough throat to do the arms? Nice!

Now when are you dropping the rear subframe? :smilielol5:

I wouldn't say it's fun, but the end results are nice.

Negative, but I made my vice work.

I don't want to talk about it. I do have pillow balls and bushings that need to go in though :suspect:

Ah true, but should be relatively minor. Don't have plans to drop the subframe, the diff bushings are already done. Just need to do the control arm bushings, and the pillow balls. I also have toe links and trailing arms on order, so we won't have to deal with those bushings.

TitaniumTT 07-22-2016 10:46 AM

Ah, kewl.... was unsure how Treffeisenized you wanted to go with sandblasting and painting/powerdercoating the rear subframe

DON'T FORGET WHEEL LOCKS!

Yea I like the idea of dropping painting etc, but since no one will ever see it I'm not inclined to put in the effort if I'm honest

Would probably like to clean/paint the control arms though.

Word. Send me a text next week to remind me.

TitaniumTT 07-22-2016 10:57 AM

If I even see you in the vicinity of my wheels with vice grips I'm going to punch you in the dick.

TitaniumTT 07-22-2016 11:35 AM

Now we are getting kinky yeah?!?!?

I didn't say I was going to do it, I'm saying if you forget the wheel locks again, YOU'RE going the HAVE to do it :smilielol5:

chibikougan 07-22-2016 03:11 PM

Just buy a smaller socket notch the locks and bang that lil socket on there take off wheel lock.

chibikougan 07-22-2016 03:12 PM

Or just weld a damn Nut on the end..
