could you make a double wish bone converison kit for the 2nd gen RX-7 please?
Since you can adjust the bolts one at a time, couldn't make some intresting adjustments. |
A double wishbone on a FC3S isn't easy.
I have bought me an FC this week that will be an Renesis in. Hopefully some things for the track also pop up :) |
The last piece done.
Just welding the shells on to the wishbone, and som painting. http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1619.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1620.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1621.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1622.jpg |
2 weeks of car-vacation.
Worked out pretty good, 2 sorts to choose between also. The only thing that doesn't work is my mobile camera :) http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1625.jpg |
That is a really slick idea.

This weekend I made some of my brackets for suspension. It dropped suddenly and has gone very well. Starting to agree with the TIG-welder, and begin to realize that TIG is for us who can not MIG / MAG :)
It is slow and calm :) http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1671.jpg Then weld all as much as possible before it is installed in the car to where also welded into the frame. The sole purpose of avoiding weld so much in uncomfortable positions :) http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1672.jpg Then the most important today :) I was to pick my crank! Finally! Now it's just for me to continue with splines etc.. Let the pictures speak for themselves :) http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...d/IMAG1681.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...d/IMAG1682.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...d/IMAG1683.jpg http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...d/IMAG1684.jpg Isn't she beautiful?? http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...d/IMAG1685.jpg |
I find it absolutly incredible that you are making most of these componets yourself. In my opinion its people like you who are mostly responsible for keeping the rotary community both alive, and progressing. Thank you sir for your passion.

Have some thoughts.
Do not know exactly how to setup my 4 rotor. I can build a full throttle PP, much power on high rev. Or perhaps a Semi-PP little more driveability, longer curves? Or, finally, a complete side-port setup? Sideport-setup takes som heavy mods on the FD-plates, but nothing is impossible. I would rather not overcharge, but it might be a possibility together with the side port and low boost. This first setup will not be a power-setup, it would be a road-legal-version if it's possible. What do you think? |
Go with the side-port setup.
I hate it when ppl get there 3 or 4 rotor engine for the first time and port the shit out of it. See what its like with stock ports first, and play around with boost. Then later down the road if you still desire to port it, do so. I've been keeping an eye out on this thread. So once again, I'll give you props on your building skills. Inspirational. |
Some new parts for the rear.
Waterjet is beautiful! http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/IMAG1701.jpg |

If its a drag car, might as well go all out...
Its its going to be a street/race car, might as well retain some driveability... all that work for it to be a hassle to cruise down the street seems like a waste. |
Do you mean full side port like the RX-8 or similar to stock 13B-xxx ??
