i just realized i didnt really answer your question. the tape or remove thing kinda comes down to what it is. like door handles and exterior trim pieces MUST be removed if you want the best quality possible. It would have been easier to remove the harness but in my case i didnt have time to do it be for i got it in the shop sooo.... aluminum foil was my friend :)

Gotcha, yeah I always remove things that can be removed. The harness is easy, takes only a few minutes, the AC lines and such as well, just curious why you tapes instead fo removed.

ya i hear ya. i really would have liked to take EVERYTHING out of the bay but when i got it in the body shop my instructor didnt really want me to mess with it just cause of a possible mess. i.e. brake mc making a mess. and i wasnt sure about how in depth taking that harness would be so i left it in. ill post the rest of those pics after i get off work. and FINALLY ill be spraying my door jams and engine bay tomorrow. i know ive been talkin about it for a while now :beatdeadhorse5: but it is going to happen in the morning.
