I have been teaching with DarkSide driving events for over two-years, and it is a great group to learn high-speed driving:

The event is at Roebling Road Raceway, which is a great beginners track, with lots of run-off (check out my videos):

It is also about 2-hours from Jacksonville, FL, so it's a relatively short drive for us North Florida residents (hence the posting).
