What is the best bang for the buck boost guage? Is a simple mechanical guage worthwhile?

There are a few VDO black guages that only cost $30.00 would this be a good idea?

THanks!

I like my Cyberdyne Boost Gauge. I have the one in red. Price isn't bad.

Yep, I'd take a VDO over an Autometer anyday, especially the boost gauges.

I don't like the Cyberdyne digital gauges, cause those pressure sensors die pretty quickly.

Oh well, it was cheap and it works for now, but I will keep that in mind Ted.

On a boost gauge, a mechanical isn't too bad of a thing because you're only running manifold pressure/vaccum into the cabin.

Electric type gauges are preffered for things like fuel pressure, oil pressure etc. so you don't have to plumb those fluids into the cabin.

i have had just a simple auto meter gauge in my past 2 rx7s and they have worked fine for me.
