Your welcome. I love the Microtech base map, its great. And the price was amazing. I got mine for $950 from an Ebay dealer, but they went up to $1100 their now. Any questions on the install, just let me know. I was just searching Microtechs the other day to see what they were going for, saw that, and figured someone could use the price break. Good Luck :)

The Microtech is super easy to install. Because the whole harness is prelabled and you can get a diagramfor S4/S5 setups, you can simply hook the the wiring up based on the diagram and it tell you what factory color hooks to the Microtech harness. So basically, if you can do basic wiring, you can do a Microtech. All ya basically do is cut the old harness off a few inches back from the sensor connector and then splice that connector to the new harness. It took me about 3 hours to install :)

that's what i figured. i'm not so worried about the wiring, that i'm actually good at, i'm just more worried about getting the car running and tuned. but everything is a learning process!

I drove mine for 6 months with 16psi of boost creep with no tuning what so ever. Wouldn't recommend running that kinda boost without tuning, but gives ya an idea of how good the stock map is, never had it really hick-up or anything :)

Yeah, had to fiddle with my fuel pump wiring, but it will fire up and idle on base map. BTW, I am also running a Walbro 255lph pump which does bump the fuel pressure up some.
