UPDATE THE CAR IS ALIVE!!!!! UPDATE THE CAR IS ALIVE!!!!!

Ok heres the story....another good story..Oh well here goes
80 model 7

The wife drove the car to a friends car sat couple of hours(I KNOW ,I KNOW ,I SHOULDNT HAVE LET HER DRIVE IT!!!:banghead: .Then she cranked it to go home it ran a few seconds fine then when she tried to pull out on the hwy it goes dead now starter wont turn and when I go to pull start it the lights go out on the dash like it cranked so its getting juice from the altenator i think and nothing happens wont pull start

Things I've done....
1 checked all the fuses none blown...but hazzards dont work?
2 checked to see if getting juice to coils, test light confirms it with key on.
3 pulled it to start it for several miles just to make sure she didnt flood it out it should have cranked.
4 with key on all the lights on cluster light up as usual

any suggestions will help as this is our only form of transportation right now

Ok i got the car up in the air and checked the wire going to the starter it was getting power when the key was turned im guessing the starter may be bad and not the power wire that is relatively new

But that still wouldn't explain why you couldn't get it started by pulling it.

Check your fusible links. Check the fuse labeled "meter". Is the fuel pump running?

Ok heres the final diagnosis the starter was killed by my wife trying to get it cranked(Thanx Hun!!!!)and the turbo hose on the compressed air side had poped off wasnt getting air fuel mixture. So the hose is on as well as the new starter and it is Alive...again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:driving::auto :

So I say Thnx for the help guys and hopefully this thread as small as it may be will help someone else

I guess I'll never forget to check the turbo hoses again....well it was dark the first time i looked at it
