Savannah Dan, G's Third Gen, and I all made it back safe and sound to FL last night with me shooting out flames all the way home:) Will get that fixed this week but it was fun seeing other cars slam on the brakes, refusing to pass me. One lady waited about an hour to pass and then zoomed by at about 95 - guess she thought I'd catch her on fire.
This was my first DGRR and I'll definitely be back next year. Beautiful country, great roads, and 200 other rotor heads, it doesn't get any better than that. It was cool meeting all of you in person and hanging out.
Many many thanks to Phil, his wife, Kevin, and the rest of the crew for making the event a success. While we were having fun they were busting their tails to make the event run smoothly. It's hard work and they deserve an internet round of applause.

Great seeing/talking with you again. All of the H'ville locals need to get together more often. Oh and thanks again for the Hans hat. Denise won a navy blue one at DGRR 07 so now we have matching lids :)

I know most people don't have anything AU or any Univ. related on their car so it's hard to tell if anyone actually cars about sports. I know alot of car guys could care less.

Yes, when you are as good as we are, it's not sports, it's a way of life:) UT fans I take it? I seem to recall playing you guys last year. Who won that game? Or was that basketball? Hmmn..

Correct. Made it back home no problems, flaming all the way:) Now on to fixing the flame issue and repainting the bumper!

Will you be making it a yearly trip now like Nader and Chris?

True, the entire time I attended I went to only 1 game. Not real big into most sports.

I had a great time as well, I was struggling on the end of that drive home though, lol. And yes, if I decide to design another t-shirt next year it will have an FD on it :D

That's bad.
The game last year had to be one of the worst football games I've ever seen. About 300yrds total offense between both of them. And it wasn't because the defense's were super either.

While I'll be the first to admit UT's football had a 2-3 year lull in recruiting, I'd kindly suggest you review the last 15-20 year overall record between the 2 schools and then get back to me. We won't bother to compare bowl appearances or national championships in that span either...
