I'm in the process. It's not that popular among FC owners, but FB guys do blow-through quite often. What carb does it have now?

Which weber are running??

It's pretty easy to setup them up for blowthrough. I used to have first gen that set up a Weber 48 DCO to run blowthrough.

The problem that you are going to face is getting a proper sized turbo to work with that bridge port at the pressure levels that a two barrel can work with.

Just build a box for the carb :)

Tonnes of info out there on blow through setups, but if you want real guru information on that - you won't find (much) of it on import forums - if it doesn't have fuel injectors most of them don't know what to do!

Gotta find old school minds for that information.

A Holley setup would be the easiest, but the IDA would turn the most juice. The problem with running a turbo IDA is the float. No one sells a float that can handle more than about 5-7 psi.

Carb bonnets are readily available for the Holleys, not to mention all of the internals can be easily changed to accomodate a blow through setup.

I hear the accelerator pump is also problematic for blow-through IDAs.

Even easier than a Holley would be an OER, or even a DCOE with the later-style plastic floats. I'm going to be using the latter. RotaryShack will sell you a carb hat for the DCOE or OER, but I'm cheap so I'll probably make my own.

an IDA will make good power when used in a blow through application and i sell solid floats for the IDA, so there is no limit to how much boost you can run.. the accelerator pump circut works fine too.

Well there ya go! Leave it to tha Shack to come through with the solid floats! I searched for years (not lately) and couldn't find even a European, Italian, Chinese, or Japanese supplier for these. I may have to the build that I wanted to do about 5 years ago now.

Another thumbs up for tha Shack!
