Hello everyone,
Well according to 1twistedrx7 I believe I have found my new home!
On Monday I paid for my dream car....a 1993 Black/Tan touring with a clean title. The car is mechanically sound but is missing some parts that are mostly cosmetic. The car has no headlight covers, no front fenders, no turn signals and a cracked cover for the 3rd brake light. I have wanted an FD for many years but got sidetracked with my plans when i bought a 350Z in 2004 and went nuts with modding. This car will be a booth car at 2008's SEMA show so expect some BIG changes and some extensive modding.
The 350Z was at 2007s SEMA and was recently featured in a Japanese Magazine. It is completely modified with everything from custom work wheels and a 4 wheel racing caliper Project MU BBK to a BRIDE filled interior and the only LS2 swap in the entire world. I am not new to modding cars and work in the industry.
I look forward to fixing the RX7 (and modifying it along the way) and playing around with the stock twins and 13b til i get too comfortable with that power level. I hope to learn a lot, meet a lot of people and slowly phase myself out of the "drama filled" 350Z world as my FD nears it's completion.
Hope to see you guys at meets....even if I can only show up in my Z for a while.
