has anyone used this thing before?

Collector/Megaphone Assembly

Our Collector Megaphone Assembly is designed specifically for high output race engines. The pipe diameter is adequate for up to 300 horsepower - the inlet pipes are 2-inch O.D. and the outlet diameter is approximately 4 inches. Overall length is approximately 35 inches.

4" outlet seems a bit larger from what i have seen used for standard exhausts. Most of the people running a megaphone tend to leave out details on their setup. Just curious how well something like this might work. And were the hell i would fit 4" diameter piping....

RB used to sell some shorter ones that I used once (they may still offer them, I just didn't look on their site). 2" inlet and 4" outlet and about 12" long. I used a pair of them and ran the pair on a 13B bridgeport about 10 years ago. I had a fellow fab up a twin rear section (FB) which bolted up to my RB dual presilencer mid section and RB road race header. IOW, complete true dual setup from the block back. They were usual high RB quality and performed great. But, the word loud just doesn't touch the sound. I couldn't even drive the car to the track because I would be pulled over for the noise. You couldn't even hear someone talking if you were close to the car. Painfully loud might be the best descriptive words here.

Although, I did have the only 1st gen with twin 4" outlet exhaust. lol I did have to cut and trim the rear valance to make them fit. Hope that helps.
