1984 Mazda RX-7 roller w/ moon roof and rear drum brakes. Rolling chassis w/ no engine.
This car has no title. The exact mileage is just under 155K. It has one flat tire, but the donut is still good, so it could be pulled a short distance, but would recommend at least towing if not trailering for long distance.
This car has good body panels, windows and I do have the moon roof –not glass (removed in picture). The hood is bent on the corners, but could be straightened and used. The interior would need some work, but is intact. This car has no rust that I know of except maybe some surface rust in the engine bay under the battery.
I made a deal w/ my wife when I got my SE that I’d haul this thing off to the junkyard, but I’d rather see somebody do something w/ it. It is a very workable chassis and once you get an engine, it wouldn’t take a whole lot to get it going- just time and money. If I had the time or the space, I’d restore it myself, but the other two are more than enough to keep me busy. Bottom line- it has got to be gone within a week and I’ve been quoted anywhere from $250-$400 by salvage yards, but I’m willing to take less to avoid that if you come and get it.
