I have a used Mariah Motorsports fiberglass rear hatch for sale in Greenville, Michigan (48838). It is painted black and needs new glass, but the molding for the glass is included. It is in the back of my shop and kind of hard to get to for pictures, but I will try to dig it out tomorrow and get a picture or two up. It is not cracked or beaten up, I just have no use for it. This hatch sells for over $1,100 new from Mariah. If you get on the Mariah website and look under exterior products for the 1st gens, you will see what they look like if you are unfamiliar with them.
Priced at $250 to sell quickly. Trying to get a jump on cleaning out my shop before Spring comes.
Local pickup preferred, but I am willing to ship at the buyer's expense.
Thanks,
Neal.

A few pictures. The rubber window seal is cracked and can really only be used for reference so a glass shop knows which one would be best (it's just a universal seal). Dark spots/runs on the hatch is just water spots from the puddles on my garage floor.

Yes I still have the hatch.
No, I don't have the "side windows" because there are none to have. This hatch mounts in place of the stock hatch. On the Mariah website what you are seeing are the stock rear quarter glass with side louvers on them.

ah, i was reading the site and it was confusing how it worked with the side windows. i actually sent you an email about the hatch earlier today.

i contacted Mariah about getting replacement louvers for the side windows and they proclaim that the item is not theres. I sent them a picture of the hatch and they confirmed it. So its something else that another company made....interesting. Who else produced something like it?

The only onther company that I know of that made hatches and side louvers (along with alot else) was Impact Parts, though they don't have much in way of RX-7 stuff anymore and haven't really for years. I'm not really surprised Mariah said it wasn't theirs- about three years ago I got in an argument with a guy there that claimed they never made the "cassette deck" front air dam like on Roger Mandeville's car, even though it was right on their website. I guess if they swear it isn't theirs, they must know what they are talking about.....

what it if off was that those louvers are supposed to be a permanent part of the hatch and lift off the 1/4 glass with the rest of the hatch when it pops up. So maybe its some ones replica or something.
(i still want the hatch btw)

I suppose you may be right, and if I have incorrect information about the hatch, I do apologize. I'm not trying to misrepresent it at all. I was told it was a Mariah hatch, part of the older Mode I kits from the early to mid 80s, but since I have no paperwork, I am not able to verify it, and since Mariah says it's not theirs, I'm at a loss as to whose it is.
