I know i could go with a 13B RE motor and would work alot easier but the truth is i also have an FD and im soon going to go with a 20B 3rotor. im swaping everything from the FD into the FC that's motor, haltech, turbo. I do not want to sell the motor itself since iv put to much money into that motor.

just drill and tap the intermidate housing and use the stock mount's.. it's cheaper and you don't risk stressing those crappy $300 mount's :icon_tdown:

OR
Use a piece of $5 flat bar and weld it across the subframe. Instant FD style mount for next to nothing....and you could use stock FD mounts for isolation, or banzai mounts if you're feeling perky.
Also, as "easy" as it is do drill and tap the intermediate iron, its an awful fucking expensive piece to muck up :)

That would work on the right side but the left side has no provision for the motor mount. The "meat" of the iron is missing versus what is there on the earlier engines.
