We have a few pics of our V-Mount kit up on the site. More pics will be coming in the coming weeks. Specs are as follows

2.5" custom dual pass cross flow radiator
Cradle mounted radiator verses hard mounted
Allows use of modified under tray.
Radiator is higher than toe hooks
Precision IC cores (size depending on options)
IC and Radiator can be completely sealed
Radiator kit can be bought separately
All steel parts are powdercoated
Powersteering cooler options

Not at first as that is dependent on if your running stock turbos, elbow, powersteering, etc.

Looks good, I have one of Chuck's Monster V-mounts and it was/is top notch, I like how you did the cradle for the radiator looks like its alot beefier than chucks.

I assume the radiator will have the brackets for the fans to mount on? What about A/C lines have you guys test fitted the a/c to see how much cutting would be required of the lines to make it work, I know Chucks to retain the A/C required the line to have a harder turn in it.

How tight is the radiator in the cradle, will there be an problems of it rattling around?

Looks really good though can't wait to see one pipped up.

I am glad someone commented on the cradle mount of the V-mount. I am dead set against hard mounting a radiator, to me its just asking for a failure. Almost any vehicle you find on the road does not hard mount a radiator and there are reasons behind it. We are using a fairly hard foam rubber to cradle the radiator. The top radiator hold downs will actually squeeze the radiator and keep it from moving/vibrating, within reason. We have no plans to support AC based on the complexity and the heat exchanger blocking airflow. The fans that are used are not the stock units. With the stock fans thickness and using a cross-flow radiator did not lend themselves well for the way we mounted the radiator.

So the fans that you are using, will you be offering those with the kit once its completed or more of a "we recomend using X fans with this application"?

Completly understand the A/C deletion. On a note with that though, if you were to use brackets similar to how Chuck did his, I wonder if you could extend the brackets to a stable lenght to where you had a nice gap between the A/C heat exchanger and the radiator. That, theoretically, should give plenty of room for air to hit the radiator without having to go through the A/C, especially with the angle that it looks like your using for the radiator. Only drawback there would be, you would almost have to supply some kind of prefabbed A/C replacement line to make it a kind of do it yourself install kit. Personally for my needs I don't have A/C so it doesn't matter to me at all, just happen to know that alot of people seem to like that frosty cold air in the summers.

Again can't wait to see some finalized pictures seems you guys are heading in a good direction.

With the fans I am going to let the user decide what they want to do. I have fitted multiple fans in different configurations and sizes. I will let the user decide if they want to go with the "cheaper" fans or flex a lites. I think our prices will reflect the differences based on the parts we do or don't provide. We will also offer the rad only package for those that want to fab or use an FMIC for their IC. I'm pretty open at this point to provide whatever is asked beyond AC.

v-mount looks great, can you do custom IC sizes? i have a battery tray for a 51R installed in the stock location and your current IC is say 2-4" too long. i'm guessing this would probably require new side sealing plates as well...

oh and do the flex-a-lite fans come with a shroud?

If there's actually a good quality kit, that you guys can provide with decent price, I will be all over this. For a fact, I will be rebuilding my engine and converting my FD into Single turbo. That's why I am really interested if theres actually a nice quality V-mount kit =)

I don't think there is a plan for a v-mount with ac, but you should either pm or email fritts to get exact details, I know at the moment his fd has no ac or ps.

Any pricing info yet? I'm tend to look at the FD guys for parts and then figure out how to make it fit on my car (like oil coolers and such) and this looks good. Subscribed to this thread. Keep up the good work.

I think fritts has his setup finished he is finishing up his wiring on his haltech just got the car started last weekend so he should be able to give you some info. I think we are going to be making a vmount setup for my fc when we get done playing with some of our other toys just for a heads up. I'll try and keep you informed fritts doesn't get on here much. If you do need to contact him emailing him would be your best bet.

Sorry I'm working on moving and have about 20 balls in the air right now.

1. A custom IC could definetly be made. Most likely it would just be a shift to the passenger side of the engine bay.
2. I will have side plates available for the relocated battery kit. The battery tray would block off most air flow on the drivers side and depending on how far over the battery forces the IC over it will need a custom plate.
3. I am working on splitter but I do not have one at the moment.

i e-mailed him about if the IC will fit with turbojeff's 51R battery tray, he said it would be a real tight fit. I was wondering:

1. if he was willing to make a custom sized IC? maybe like 2-3 inches shorter on the driver's side?
3. is there ducting included?
2. is there a splitter to direct more air to the IC or vise versa?
