We'll see.... I'm sure its soon enough for them to link DGRR to RCC.. just like they put RCC-D to RCC and banned it on 7club.
Funny thing was that, I've requested them to delete the sub forum there before and THEY REFUSED!! How ironic is that?? We request them to take the censorship off of RCC and RCCD, but when I asked to take the sub forum off for DGRR, they refuse.. I think they just don't want people to tell them what to do...

Deals Gap, NC - I think about 8-10 hour drive from you.
If you read the Q&A, if you sign up now and can't make it, you could always sell your spot to someone else. There is always people who want to come at the last min... and I rather know the number of people vs. trying to make extra 10buck. The main reason for higher cost later on is because of that.. Hoping people will sign up early. Also, NVNC has limited lodging.
If you can't sell it at the end, the money is going for the good cause. I'll be using that to pay for travel expenses as I have to bring a truck, gas, and pay for lodge and such for the guest speakers we are inviting this year.

Dave, you should try to hook up with Max777 and others from IL, IA and IN and caravan down!
Maybe you can even come through Nashville and link up with us!!

As the time gets close rI will try and see what can happen, but again if the 7 is not running I wont make the trip. I may possibly trailor it if it is running but if it is not running at all I wont come.

Don't get me started about the IB owned rotary sites...
If I could ban them all, I would!!! LOL! Unfortunately their dictatorship wouldn't allow me to become involved in any ways..
Well the date is out and now time to spread the word.
Thanks for spreading the word! So far we have 12 registered and 100 is what I have to get for next year (min. number for lunch cater).

paypaling as soon as I can get access to deposit money into my checking account. This will be the 3rd year I have attended and last year was the best by far! Phil, Thanks for everything you have done to get this together. It gives us all a chance to meet up and chill/chat cars w/ forum members and get away for a while. Very relaxed and chill atmosphere!
So eager!

Phil, I sent my payment but its through an eCheck. It wont actually go through until about 3-5 days from now. I'm having some issues w/ my debit card and couldn't link it to make the transaction immediate. Hope this isn't a problem. I paid for last years the same way. Money is in my account and thats all I use that account for is paypal.
Let me know if you have any problems.

Yes. Pretty much everyone needs to register as the registration includes lunch and a t shirt. If shows up at the last minute, I might not be able to provide lunch... which could be inconvenient for you and your wife/guest. Also the day of the event, cost will be over $50 to register.

Michael,
If you are going to be official DGRR photographer.. Fly here (SWA has SD to Bham), ride with me, or if one of my other rotaries is ready you could take that... AND you could also use my D90 as a back up or put on another lens so you don't have to change lenses.
I'm sure I could find someone you could room with...

Awesome!
I also have quite a bit of video stuff.. I have several video mounts and 3-4 DV cameras.. I've always wanted to document the event but too busy to do it when I'm up there running the event.. So, this might work out perfect for both of us!

Would you have any info on Hotels in that area so I can book something up from now? Also would you have the google location of this event so I can see how far and how much time it would take me to get there? Would really appreciate that.
