Had a blast at VIR this weekend. Big Thanks to Fritz as he instructed me all weekend long and I learned sooooo much. Car did great! I beat the crap out of it all weekend long and it ran great. I'm leaving back for Afghanistan tomorrow morning so things are kind of hectic right now, but here are a few pictures. I will be adding more later:

VIR is a sweet place! I plan to be there the 14th for their Holiday Charity Drive. Nice shots.

That red Mazdaspeed FD is sick!

Everyone did great. My oil feed line started leaking and I needed to get home so I could clean every thing back up and put it away before I headed back to the sandbox Wed. morning so I left right after lunch on Monday.

Yeah, that was what sold me on this weekend. I think there were 7 or 8 FD's there. I've been hooked on track weekends for a long time, I just never get to do them thanks to my job... that's all about to change... 8 months later once I get back in June... haha

Thanks! I can't wait to go back next summer. I plan on doing 10-12 track days next summer between June and September. I'm hoping 2 of those weekends will be at VIR.

Dude!! I think I enjoyed riding with Fritz almost as much as driving!!
