Hey ya'll thought ya'll may want to know: (still trying to convert him)
my buddy Ben just moved up there. I called him and let him know about the meet and website. He worked for rx7 world for 5 years. He is so excited because there is a guy that lives down from him with a whole bunch of 7's . He lives near louisville and says he is about 30 min. form the Michelin plant. He found that out because my husband and i may move up there after I graduate.

I'm a transplant to Louisville, myself. Moved here in 2000. I didn't even know there was a Michelin plant around here. I hope he can make it out. We have quite a few people saying they are going to come out in threads like this one, but no one is really posting it over at KY Rotary. I may start a list of people saying they are going to attend and post it there so people no that it is generating interest.

Thanks to fc nut for making the drive down for what ended up being very small. We used to be able to put together a lot of cars, but here lately, everyone says they will be there and no one shows. In the end, we had a couple 1st gens, a couple of 2nd gens, and a couple of 3rd gens, though one of those guys didn't catch dinner with us.

I think the next meet I try to organize will be in N. KY. Those guys up there seem to be a bit more active. Thanks again, Brian, for making the trek down. I enjoyed meeting you and hope to see you around at future meets.

If you had made the trip down for this meet, you would have probably kicked me in the nuts. I felt bad for Brian, with him having driven just shy of 2 hours to come down. The turnout was poor, compared to meets we have had in the past. I have some pics. I'll try to get some up later tonight. Not much to see, though.

The only good thing that came out of the day besides getting to meet Brian, is a friend I had been talking to about buying his 94 R2 said it was mine when I wanted it. Yay. Now to sell some property to finance it.

I wanted to come, but I couldn't get out of work. Maybe next time.

I was glad I went. My ten year old son wants to go next time. (he likes fords ,so I'm trying to turn him away from the dark side) The guys in ky were grass roots rotaryheads. It was worth the drive down.

AH BLAST I missed it!

I had no idea about it, I would have definitely made the trip up-state.

Show us them pics by the way

Also forgot to mention that there is a meet at the London drag strip on Sunday, well tomorrow.

Anyone is welcome to come down and watch or race. I don't want to be the only FC there haha

Post it in the Middle TN thread next time. We are close enough to run up.
I will see about joining the web site to keep Middle TN in the loop.

Thanks

Alright. It's a pretty good place, everyone gets along, no drama, just fun and everything.

There's a few RX-7 owners, but not a whole lot.

A guy is selling a built LS1 FC right now
