Don't know. Never tried it.
Don't you live near Kevin? Make him help you!
Lol.
I do live near him, but ah I don't know.. I'd feel like I was bothering him.. And I wouldn't want to just show up at his house unannounced. I guess I'd feel like I'm just using him if I just went over there various times for different things especially when I have nothing to offer him other than money.. And I'm sure he wouldn't want to take money for just pointing. I would like for him to look over my car for me though.. I don't know perhaps I'll get over it and call or PM him.

Nah, Kevin is a nice guy, and something like this isn't labor intensive. In fact, all he has to do is show/tell you how to do it. No biggie. Don't let his country ass scare you!!
It's not so much his country ass as it is his dog... (jk) If you have seen his dog you'd understand. Anyway nah it's really I guess the fact that it's at his house so it feels more invasive then if it was at a shop.. because then if he's gone he's gone. But at his house he'll always be there unless he is out.. I may interrupt something.. I guess it comes down to respect or something like that. Anyway, Kevin if you read this I may decide to come over tomorrow and see if you'll want to help me..

Tell him I sent you, I'm sure that'll make everything alright!!!
(really, say that, I want to know what his reply is!!!)
What's you name? or just say djmtsu?
Anyway surely by now he has seen this. and probably facepalmed twice.
Oh and btw have you seen my other thread about parts interchangeability? I'd like to get more going into it.. I still need to add the information about the antennas.
In answer to your question, no. That's not the correct hose. You're not trying to clean/run water through the runners, you're trying to inject water directly into the combustion chamber to remove carbon. Unless I'm thinking of another procedure, it's the wrong hose.
Look for the nip that feeds into both the front and rear rotor. The pressure sensor is usually what people use to hook it up to (the port that the MAP sensor connects to anyways).
On the NA, it's in the middle juts above the 6PI.

There you go!
I guess I'll go look for this other hose now.. Maybe I can get kevin to do it if I bring a gallon of water and if I can find some fish hose. And maybe he'll tell me why my car sounds like it does when I sometimes start it up.
My runners my need a good cleaning though.
