I have a 1987 rx7. Just recently ive had a problem starting it. It sounds alot like it would if it were flooded. It can sit for a couple hours and start fine. then i can run it for 10-15 minutes. shut it off and try to start it again and it will take a few extra cranks to start. then run it for another 15, and it will take even more cranks to start this time. the battery is fully charged. does anyone have any suggestions????

i would first look to see what the state of your fuel injectors are. I would have to say that about 8 out of 10 Rx7s that i have worked on having "hard starting" issues or general running problems were due to the injectors being...well...old.

if you opt to get them serviced, i recommend witchhunter

Quick fix?
Fuel pump cut-off switch

Extensive fix?
List is too long to get into...

is there an automatic choke??? Or something of the sort. It starts fine when cold but once it warms up it has a hard time, and also idles real low if it doesnt stall, but only when its warmed up.

Okay you said that you run it for 10-15 min turn it off and it will not start... hate to sound erksome but is sounds like your starter is going. What normally happens is once it cools off it will start right up. if that sounds like your problem. IF YOU CAN PREFERABLE take the starter off and take it to an aotoparts store and they will check it for free
