hey guys i need a drive shaft for my rx-7 the staked u joints just went, and im new to the club

welcome to the club. Did it also kill your tranny or did you get lucky?
I just got the www.mazdatrix.com (http://www.mazdatrix.com) DS yesterday and installed today. It's serviceable so you just buy the U-joints next time they fail.
Also, post pics of your GTUs. QUite a few of them in here.

If you bring your old drive shaft into any competent driveline shop they'll change the u-joints and balance it for you. I paid ~$200 to have mine done in the spring time. Grease nipples on the new u-joints, painted all fancy black......just as another option. People say that you can't change them, but you can :)

^^agreed. Worse case scenario they cut and weld the drive shaft to accept replaceable fittings.

I was quoted $350 so i said screw em and went with mazdatrix. Btw, mazdatrix is aout 8 hours away from me so I can't stop by!!
