Hi guys,

I'm looking for a body shop that is just really good with Authentic kits. There's nothing around Huntsville AL that I can find. I'm willing to travel a couple of hundred miles if necessary!

Anyone know anyone that does really good work?

thanks,

Laura

Thanks! OMG, I think the FD featured on their site I saw at Nightshift in Nashville a couple of weeks ago. That is one BAD ASS ride!

I'll definitely let you know when I head that way!

What do you need done?

If its a good kit, you wouldnt need much..

Personally speaking, I would never take my car out of state to put a kit on... Unless its something VERY complex and need specialty work. Body kits and such, I think most body shop can do it.. If you are looking for color match and such, Thats VERY tough, even if you take it to a specialist... They would have to blend or you need a new whole car paint job..

Actually I found a local one here Phil. Turns out that I'm getting a new paint job after all since we hit a debris/hail storm coming back from Trussville a couple of weeks ago. I took a short cut coming home, and caught the brunt of it. Better me than the other guys though. Mine has had few bumps and bruises here and there already...They are going to do it all at once. My problem has been finding someone willing..With the influx of knock off's and problems with young kids giving them crap when they dont understand you only get what you pay for, a lot of shops here won't touch a foreign car. Luckily my insurance company recommended a custom shop to do the repair work, and we are splitting some of the cost of it combined.

I did find a place in Trussville called Wild Side paint that might do the detailed work afterward. I have yet to get down there and talk to the owner, but he's good. wildsidepaint.com.

The kit is authentic as well. I've been saving for over a year for it! ;)

Sounds good!! I'll be putting on a rear bumper and maybe get the front bumper fixed while we are doing the rear.. But a friend of mine will do the shoot and I'll prep.

I hate to say this, but sometimes the knock offs are better the original.. That was the case of lot of the kits I've seen for the 7s. Not sure about the 8.. as I have the MS from Mazda and Rear from Shine.

The Vertex Lang is coming from Vertex-USA, so I think I'm in pretty good shape. There are several others that have been done, and have come from the same place, so all I can do is hope. I can't wait to see yours when it's done.
