What are the possible high-flo cat options out there? Which of these cats would take best to a dyno-tuned RX-7?

I think the most used one is probably the Bonez as available on www.rx7.com and other sites. There is a lot of history of use and it holding up on our 7's that tend to destroy converters.

I know there are others as well that people use, and there's always the metallic substrate converters that I've heard really good things about but cost a pretty penny.

I contacted SMB about their cats, they look good, but I wish there were more recorded opinions regarding their cats.

All this is for an RX-7 STS2 autocross effort in the next year.

I've destroyed a Bonez cat with my N/A, i'm looking into metallic substrate cats next. Vibrant Performance sells few fairly cheap.

I'd stay away from Vibrant Performance if I were you.

I'm hoping to find one that doesn't die off, and has EPA-mandated labeling.....goddamn SCCA.

I'm going to use a Bonez 3" on my car.

Bonez is the only 3" cat I've found with the air pipe on it. So if you're installing one for emissions, and you're not going to run a 2.5" exhaust, Bonez will be your best option.

SMB in Austrailia also makes decent units. Lots of the FD guys use them.
