Hello everybody! I have the honor to join and be here with RX8 enthusiasts...I have so many questions and much to learn about rotary engines....

My first question is When I start my rx8, I get a turbine like sound that lasts for 40 seconds and then goes away, what is going on? It only does it in the mornings when I first start it....

Could somebody please give some advice...really appreciate it.

sincerely,

raynen

Welcome! the other forum is not really the evil forum :) It's just the forum that charges members big $$ to sell more than a couple of rotary parts. All members and vendors are welcome to sell any amount of rotary parts here with out any fees!

Thanks for your support!

Hey, Hi from southern Oregon (just in case it?s pronounced ORYGUN)
So after about 40 years I got the pickup I?ve been wanting since I was 11
Years old. I have a 1974 Mazda rotary pick up finally. It got better and better it?s a long story so I?ll hit hi points, I?m the second owner, no dents anywhere (not even parking lot dings) got the original sales invoice from the Mazda dealer here locally, everything works every light every switch, 39,113 original miles (also a downside) I bottle fed it some 110 octane premix and the sweet old girl fired right up an purred like a brand new kitten .
