Even though editors at MazdaSport magazine promised that it would be published before DGRR 2008 event, this never got published..

Since we worked hard to get this story out, i figure its time to post it here!!

FYI: Next year it will be 3 day event!

Friday afternoon, we'll all meet up at the Fontana Dam for a group shot for a magazine (I've already talked to editor in chief @ Modified Magazine).

Friday night, dinner and social gathering at Nantahala Village

Saturday, Car show and Rally

Sunday, Unofficial Skyway Run.

I wondered what ever became of that article. Now I know. I hope next year will finally be a successful trip for me. 3 years in a row and every year a failure.

I'm with DRTHVDR too, no failures for me this year!!! (although they didn't happen until AFTER the dragon, I was much further from home when they did!)

Yeah I think goodfellaFD3s has one floating around, pretty neat.

I found video's of the gap make it look MUCH easier to drive then it really is - still very cool though.

I've been looking for a wide angle DV camera... I wished I could use my Nikon lense to shoot video.. dang!

I found video's of the gap make it look MUCH easier to drive then it really is - still very cool though.

All the videos on youtube make the actual speed appear slow. We know how fast we're actually going but to the casual observer it looks painfully slow.
Just imagine how slow the video's are when someone is stuck behind a stupid Harley. Those WANNABE's should just get out of the way.

Yep! that's why i'm looking for wide angle camera.. makes it look faster.. or I need to raise the camera up!!
