I got out the tent this morning and checked it out. Hadn't had it up since Sebring, 2002. I will bring it up Friday night, if anyone wants to camp and don't have a tent. I may not stay up there, since it is so close to my house.

Im going also to this, but I dont think ill be camping either as I can just stay down at my parents or home which isnt that far from the track.

Sad as it is most of the pix are over at the other forum most that were in attendance arent members here or are rarely here. I have talked to as many people as I could at the event trying to get the word out about this place.

Yea guys it was a blast.
Great group showed up for our first annual. Big smiles after the touring laps that started out at 70 or so MPH! Bashing the van for breast cancer fund. Lots of cool old school stuff at the swap meet. Great cook-out. A good bit of us did the PDX Sunday morning. Two 30 minute session as fast as you care to run!
Hope to see you there next year.
Pictures have been uploaded to MazdaMeets.com thread:

I'll post all my pics tonight in spurts! :D It was a blast running the car at speed on Road Atlanta on Sunday, As well the parade laps sat kicked ass. At least 20 minutes on track. Pics to come.
SCCA seemed to really enjoy our group from what the organizer(s) said. They can't wait to see us back next year;) Good stuff!!

I spoke with them a number of times this week. The date has been confirmed and we are setup for next year. The autoX will happen next year for sure. I have calls in to a motorsports insurance company (I have worked with in the past) so we can sanction our own stuff next year if the ATL Solo Group pull the same thing.
