AH!!! I remember now. Zonblitz was going to be in a magazine but it didn't dawn on me that HE was Kenny. Gonna have to go pick it up and read it during lunch.
Who wrote the article?

I guess I've gotta find it on the newsstand. I've been neglecting my reading materials lately, too much to do and not nearly enough time to get it done.

Kenny, Can you sign my magazine:)
WE3RX7
06-05-2008, 03:39 PM
^ Ditto - you can sign it and I'll put it up next to the one of my 8, it can be a new trend: how many cover cars can RCC have...
zonblitz
06-05-2008, 04:26 PM
After DGRR 08 I asked the editor to 'adjust' the story and he said that he could... I wanted to add RCC to my list of helpful websites. Sadly it didn't end up in the story. I'm sorry.
They also left out a few key people on my Thank you list, namely Ray Crow, my good friend Matt Daigle and Freddy Hebert for allowing me to use his shop for almost 3 months during my engine bay project.
For these people and to the RCC forum I apologize, maybe next time.
I have a feature in the works with DSport.

It's cool how close our community is! I just KNEW that whoever owns that car would post on here to show and tell!
Great job on the car! I only have one slight quip about it: Where did you get the front bumper? The fitment doesnt seem to be too great, and it brings down the car. The bumper design itself is awesome, but i think it would look even better if you could mess with the fit a bit more, and get it to line up better!
Apart from that, A++++
:D
EDIT: I double checked both the online, and the magazine pics:
The online one doesnt seem to make it stand out as much, and looking at the magazine again, and seeing the fender to bumper gaps, I think that the actual problem might be the carbon hood rather than the bumper...
And then there is also that pic of the car with no front end, what happened there? :D
zonblitz
06-13-2008, 02:34 PM
We atually improved the fit shortly after the photo... imo that wasn't the best pic.. the entire kit is made by the same company so it SHOULD fit better.
we took off the front end to get it on a flat bed truck, after the rear end exploded.

Wow - that was a good amount of work to be done in a somewhat short period of time. At least now I know what color your car was :)
I'm assuming you're keeping the color the same? That interior will need some elbow grease after its all done too...
All of this will give that DSport magazine something to write about too...
Nice article in Modified. I picked up a copy ;)
Mention RCC next time!!!
Oh, and good work on getting it back together.

The door handles on an FD are right next to the window. They aren't on the door skin.

ouch, what happened?
I am a fan of the Vertex kit. Subtle yet not stock.

This one has 35mm overfenders but it's $2k. Dunno if you have access to it.

im liking the FEED wides or the Burnout Kit... and they are cheaper. Yea i was taking painkillers (oxycodon) for a real bad ear infection and i decided i was alright to drive... wrong. Backed right up into a light pole
Phoenix7
07-15-2008, 06:18 PM
ouch. I guess the 7 still counts as heavy machinery! better a pole than another car!
I really don't know much about what's available out there. I love the feed widebody kit on Zonblit's car because it flows perfectly with the body likes, like the vertex widebody.

Yep, good guess!
Except I'm going to wait till this weekend to take some good ones at the show.
The paint looks great! Better than before imo. more depth and good shine.
I am going to have somewhat of a crazy decal job this show though due to the newest sponsor, FEED. care of the only FEED direct supplier in the U.S. http://www.pmimarketinginc.com/fujita/new/index.php
Going to have a huge FEED on the side, on and angle over the doors. Not my style but they gave some sweet goodies!
Not too bad, just over 3 months.
