So somebody clue me in here. I can't find replacement mounts for my stock SE cooler (which may be done for anyway) so I'm thinking of putting a cooler on from my buddy's GXL parts car and I am a bit curious.

Aside from mounting and the use of banjo bolts, are the connections to the front cover and rear any different? I have seen so many writeups on installing FC coolers on FBs, but they were all 12A cars to begin with.

Can I just get the cooler and lines, fab the mounting and be done? Or will I need adapters for the lines to fit the engine?

I really wish I didn't sell my FC cooler w/ braided lines a while back, lol.. would have solved a lot of questions for me....

I am pretty sure that you need FB lines and an FC cooler.

Billy, The fittings should be the same I check RB and both FB and FC use the same 16mm and 18mm fittings the only thing im not sure of would be the difference in length

They use the same part # when using AN lines, but I'm curious if the FC lines will still thread into the SE front cover and rear iron. I would assume the threads are the same, so it may just need to be something i experiment with.

I have the extra RX8 lines as well which use banjo fittings as well, so I'll see if those thread in. IF the FC lines work, i'll need the lines and the cooler from the GXL. I would have to imagine the length is roughly the same...
