Random question, as I can't find the answer in the FSM or anywhere else -
What's the smallest particle size a stock FC fuel filter can screen/block, in microns?
Reason I'm asking is that I recently read an article on Injector Dynamics webpage (see linky) that indicates that if your filter can't block particles smaller than 35 microns, you'll damage the injectors, so the gist of their recommendation is to filter down to 12 microns or less. FWIW, I've found a few aftermarket filters that are spec'ed to filter down to 6 microns with replaceable filter elements.

Since I have ID 1000 injectors now, I'd hate to risk trashing them by using a stock filter with unknown filtration capability. :willy_nilly:
