New tires on the truck-done
Oil change on the truck-done
Completely new brakes on the truck-done
Load up tools and junk in the trailer-done
Gotta gas up the car and go through her tomorrow.
Putting more money in the tow vehicle than car SMH.

Mount new Bridgestone RE760 tires and probably new Hawk HPS pads and rotors on the rear. I would like to do new struts, but probably won't before the event. The O.E. ones are starting to show their age, but aren't leaking yet. I have to take the converter back off too, because we just ran through emissions.

1. coolant leak on intake
2. oil leak on oil pedestal
3. replace hawk brake pads cause they squeal so bad I can't stand it
4. change oil and coolant while I'm at it
5. check exhaust hangars all around
6. Clean some waffle wheels up
7. maybe do something with the air cleaner for the nikki.

Epic fail for trying to clean out the tank the 'easy way'.

On to Plan B: see if the tank in the white car is clean (since it was on the road in the last 2 years), if so it will be swapped.

Otherwise, Plan C: I have ordered a POR 15 Fuel Tank kit. That'll work, but it time intensive.

Last ditch, Plan D: drive Deathtrap.

Ha Ha, that's essentially my plan if the 7 isn't ready minus the gas part since I'll just simply drive the daily worse case scenario.

The 7 To-Do list:
-Install wire harness I haven't received yet (hopefully soon)
-Install coil mount I haven't received yet (hopefully soon)
-Assuming there's no issues with parts mentioned above then. . With help, get car tuned and running efficiently. .

After those it'll be all the standard things like tire pressure, fluids, and wash

Plan B is a failure. Tank is just as crusty as the other one.

Plan C is a go, but it hasn't arrived yet! Dammit Amazon!

No $$ for one. Unless Speed1 wants to sponsor and hook a brother up.

Its so refreshing to not have an exhaust leak!
FIXED!!!!

So i ditched the RB mufflers and put on an N1 muffler that i bought from Reese.
I Tig welded the pipe from the N1 to the RB presilencer, Because the stud that I cut short from along time ago was not providing the tightness to properly seal, and of course the studs won't come out. So the whole system only has 2 gaskets, hehe.
I also made a homemade silencer for the exhaust tip. 4&3/8" down to 2&1/4".
The exhaust has a nice deep sound to it.
Love it.

POR 15 fuel tank cleaner/sealer kit is being delivered today!! Wednesday I am taking the fuel tank to work, and using our 300 degree burner pressure washer to blast it out, then use the kit on Thursday when I'm off.

Wish me luck!

Just had an interesting conversation with one of the guys at POR (Advanced Coatings). They said that if after the tank is pressure washed and cleaned, if there are no leaks, pinholes, or traces of rust in the tank, it isn't necessary to use the Metal Prep or Sealer.

If that is the case, it just cut down my work my about 70%.

Burning the tank today, cleaner tomorrow.

djmtsu

Early success!

Brought the tank to work today, and used the pressure washer with a burner to blast out all the scale and sludge, BEFORE the POR kit is used. 75% of the scale and nastiness is GONE. What remains should easily be eaten up by the POR Marine Clean, which is happening tomorrow.

No pics, since my phone is at 10% and failing.
