Has anyone ever seen this? I went to my brothers house tonight and we finally got his FB to run but, after running it for probably less than five minutes A dark brown oily fluid started pouring out of the bottom of the charcoal cannister. Could this be caused by the old gas in the tank?

Bah, ditch the canister and all the emissions related shit. Makes it easier to find problems!

That's planned for the future but as of right now I know almost nothing about how to do that... or anything else on a first gen for that matter. Hell, I was proud of myself for figuring out what was wrong with the carb!
