I bought the car in 2003 with about 120k miles on it and put about 17k on since then. It’s a Sport edition with sunroof. This car has been my passion for over 10 years now but I just think it might be time to move on. It’s a great car but I’m looking for a dedicated track car and I would just feel too bad about gutting this one/caging it, etc. It started life as a bone stock S4 N/A and has since become an S4/5 boosted 6 port.
This car is ready to go and is reliable as it sits and can be used for daily status. With the right mods it can be turned into a very quick car. It has the supporting mods needed to make 300whp+ with a simple turbo compressor change (BNR turbo), and 400whp+ with a manifold/turbo/downpipe.
The interior is a mixture of S4 and S5; I combined the better of the two for a cleaner look. The exterior is probably what you would expect for a 27 year old car that hasn’t been repainted. The driver’s side rear quarter panel has repairable rust and the passenger side front fender has a large dent. S5 exterior (doors, bumpers, fenders, trim) come with the car.
Below is a list of modifications or replaced items. Most of this has occurred in the past 5 years. The car remained basically stock and untouched for a long time as I simply didn’t have the money to work on it while in college. Anything from the past few months/miles was to make sure it was track ready. It’s now performed extremely well at 2 track days so reliability isn’t an issue.

Shifter plate/seal - the one that you put the bolts through to secure the shifter (300 miles)
Tail-light seals (1000 miles – less than 1 year)
Hatch seal (1000 miles – less than 1 year)
Black floor mats (seen better days, but hey, they’re original)
New Gel Cell battery (less than 1 year)
Relocated battery to passenger side bin
Chassis:
SSR Mark II rims, 16”, painted gunmetal
Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500 tires (4000 miles – great tread left), 225/50/16 front, 245/45/16 rear
Tokico HP struts
Racing Beat springs
New front strut tops
Energy Suspension polyurethane front bushings (have the rear in the box that come with the car)
Remanufactured TII calipers on all 4 corners
Hawk HPS pads (40-50% left)
Stainless steel brake lines (Mazdatrix)
Speed bleeders on all 4 corners
Those are the highlights. There’s not much, if anything, on this car that I haven’t fixed/replaced. I could part this out and make more, however I’d rather see it go to a good home.
I have quite a few parts that could go with it for the right price. Switches, sensors, a full S5 exterior (2 bumpers, 2 fenders, 2 doors with all trim) that could go with it, etc.
$3700 OBO
