I am new here. i have posted several times trying to get some handle on my car. im getting discoraged and about to just deleat my account here. not asking for sympathy just stating my thoughts and also noting the groupies here. The rotary thing is quickly losing interest with me. love the car, reading the chilti for it and getting nowhere thats my issue.

Forums are fickle things.........
There are some cuuunts who can help you, but remember its almost worthless in the majority, so you need to be self reliant or deal with people in reality.

For this forum you need to post in the BAW General section that is where most cuuunts hang out, pretend you are a homo and you will get some love in there, then you can ask a question and get a reply in a nano second or less.

Its about networking, and for here that is the place where you can make some 'virtual' gay friends and progress from there ;)

not to mention most of your questions are all over the place, if you want basic replies ask basic questions.

not

how to rebuild an intake manifold, carb and set it properly without getting sidetracked a bit
what it takes to put a 2nd gen rear axle onto a first gen
how to supercharge a rotary engine

do you see my point? that was in a single thread. at that point people are just going to walk away.

groupies are everywhere, you can't fault them either. you join them or accept not being a part of them.

What you get out of it is only what you put into it...

You can't expect shit to fall into your lap.
You sometimes (most of the time) need to put some effort into it.

Some things just don't go together, like hamburgers and orange jello.

Do you think the majority of us care about a "chevy dodge" thing???
You need to get your eyes examined, cause this is not the place for crap like that.
To put it in a more PC way: there are other, more appropriate, forums that might be more sympathetic with your postings.

You seem like the typical kid with a chip on his shoulder.
Live life for another 30 years and come back to report...
I bet your look on life in going to be a lot different...
Wait, that'll only work if you have a brain.

i have been racing for 7 years. i have an idea what im doing. as far as the chevy dodge air intake was just passing an effective way of shoving more air into the engine on an rx-7. i do a ton of test mods an experiments. i only came here hoping to learn a bit about this finicky piece of shit car. don't get me wrong i like it but so few in my area know much about it. I have been reading the tech forums here, there inst a whole lot of viable reading on the 12a. I'm half tempted to drop a Nissan engine in the car an be done with it. I started this thread an have gotten the input to see there is a lot of fucking groupies here, an a few stragglers. other than that unless you are popular one don't see much for answers unless someone better known is talking about similar issues.
sorry to be crude but that is my analysis of this community.

You have a bit to learn grasshopper

The INTERNET is full of groupies!

This site is no different to any other I have wasted my time on, except it is a lot more friendly, and has little to do with ego or over bearing mucle flexing unlike most others, and it is not corporate like most have become either.

Having said this what Ted said is right, you have to bend over and cop it for a while, be part of the gayness, and then see what you get from it, if you are not willing to do that then go back into the never never and get no personal one on one real help, rather you will get a doctored skewed un qualified view, just like every other site.

And rotaries, you if not willing to put up with this site and earn your stripes then you will NEVER EVER be into rotaries for long if at all............... I have lost cont how many cuuunnnts I have seen come and go from this scene, its similar in length to a list of boys, men, ponies, that Paris Hilton has given oral sex too.

You wont find a more open welcoming bunch of diverse people than here, not to mention well adjusted and non vested interest group (no groupies here~!), its up to you if you want some?, if you do get your pants off, and post in BAW, the rest will just flow on from there!

This place is natural selection in action, only the fittest and gayest survive.

i have been racing for 7 years. i have an idea what im doing.
Racing what?
Hot wheels?
Slot cars?
Gran Turismo?

I've been doing this for almost 20 YEARS.
What have I learned?
I learned that I will never learn ALL of it.

We have people who are true engineers with degrees...
How much education have you got under your belt?

We have people who are an active part of the automotive industry...
What direct experience do you have under your belt?

If this is how your present yourself to a "new crowd", I doubt you get a very friendly reception much, eh?

blah blah blah

Ah, why didn't you say that in the first place???
Let's just get this straight...

YOU ALREADY THINK THE CAR IS A PIECE OF SHIT.
YOU ALREADY WANT TO SWAP A PISTON ENGINE IN IT.
YOU THINK WE'RE A BUNCH OF GROUPIES.

Knowing the above...
You really think we are going to give a rat's ass about a whiny bitch like you?
THINK ABOUT IT.

Here's a bit of advice...
You're going to find yourself WRONG on a lot things in life.
Start getting used to it.

Well I feel like a real asshole... Please forgive my rant, I think I was mildly intoxicated (read: drunk) and I mistook you for another member (that got hardcore butthurt over being given advice they didn't want to hear...)

My apologies.

also have you looked in the stickies FAQ posts? There is a fair amount of information that is floating around "static"

I have only maybe 11 years with rotaries, and frankly, I usually have a problem that isn't directly answered, but I can get enough information from wherever, solve it, report back and maybe it helps someone else.

Much comes from just doing, and honestly, the youtube visual learning method might be optimal for you. I prefer step by step pictures since people usually have different terms for different things. Especially with connectors...

I will assume most of this is the frustration talking. These cars can drive one to heavy drinking.

This is a relatively small site. It has some very knowledgeable people, but no one knows everything and most won't chime in on a thread unless they have some pretty solid advice (or at least think they do) for your problem. On a lot of sites you will get all kinds of arm chair mechanics chiming in with inane advice running you in all kinds of directions (it is the internet after all). Most here won't do that as it only makes your problems worse and we've all been down that road. Most advice given is more to point you in the right direction to do your reading as it is almost impossible to diagnose a car on the internet. It's up to you to sort through what applies in your case and do your research on the problem. Learning new things is most of the fun.

One other bit of advice. Don't ever say that you're a street racer if you want to be taken seriously. That throws up all kinds of red flags as only poseurs, or homocidal maniacs, would endanger everyone else that way and it gives the rest of us a bad rep. We welcome anyone here, but don't expect to be coddled or have all the answers delivered to you on a silver platter. We want to see you succeed in getting your car running right, which means learning how and why it works as it does. The internet sites are more for talking to others with the same interests than as a means of getting your car fixed. So take anything you hear with a grain of salt and a heavy dose of research.

Hopefully you decide we're worth hanging out with, but ultimately it's your choice.

and there's a lot more sources of information about rotary engines/cars than just this website. things you can find answers about without even posting the question but spending some time actually digging for the answers versus bellyaching about not getting the answer you wanted/needed from people who have already answered the same questions dozens of times over already.

google.com

use it.
