I have s5 turbo wheels with moderate brake dust corrosion that just doesn't clean up with wheel cleaner and I am looking for advice on how I should move forward refinishing them. What costs can I expect to get them done professionally? I have the resources to get them done DIY (sandblaster, aircraft paint remover, spray paints, etc) but has anyone done s5 turbo wheels and had them come out looking better than decent? I know the meshies pose problems because of the huge amounts of hard to get to surface area... should I take on this task?
also, opinions on color choices would be appreciated. I am leaning towards them being as close to stock colors as possible. Has anyone seen better??
The car is RED

What color is your car? As for how to paint them, a single color or a really simple two tone would be easiest.

Its a Red GTU-S. I say go with white. Black wheels on red seem to disappear unless you two-tone with the black.

I know Paul is not keen on the S4 TII wheels, sorry.
I voted stock. Paul, buy some of that Meguires stuff so I can try it out too!

You know I kind of like the bronze idea. Bronze doesn't work well on many colors IMO, but it might look nice with red.
