Ha. Unfortunately(ish), currently a Hyundai Tiburon. I once had the joy of a lady named Moanna, a 1987 TII ;)

I await my next rotary experience with varying degrees of patience.

Thanks! Though I hear there's a poll to have me banned? Ha!

But, I can't view the lounge so I may be wrong. I'm having a hard time figuring how to get my post count up without necroposting.

Welcome to the forum Becky.

Please take a moment and try to convince your husband to NOT be such an ass-hat. We'd all really appreciate that. Seriously.

So long as you aren't as repetitive and useless in your postings as he is, than I'm sure we'll all get along just fine with you.

But seriously, convince him to spend less time on the forum, and more time in the garage learning how to make things not fuck-up. It'll be good for him, his business, and your gross yearly profit.

Also, as a personal favor; Please instruct him in the differences between "you're" and "your"... Messing that up is just ignorant. My wife was born and raised in Brazil (Portuguese speaking country) and even she knows the difference..

Hi! I'll actually be fairly scarce, as I am unable to indulge in social media while working, I'm a lurker by nature, and I'm not technically proficient enough to engage in a lot of rotary speak. But I'll bop by when I can!

I'm aware of quite a few asshats who've put on displays recently. Joe is likely to give what he gets. So, if you prefer no more of that, encourage all to chill out and be grown ups. As to grammar and spelling... I love the English language, I'm a devourer of books, an aspiring writer. I also recognize people set their priorities differently. Contrary to popular rants on the Internet, proper grammar and spelling only create a perception of intelligence. Is it an eyesore? Sure. But, I'm sure you are capable of deciphering if you are interested, moving on if you aren't.

As a married man, you know you can't "make" your spouse do anything. ;)

Happy Friday!

You have always seemed like a wise woman Becky. Hopefully you will find another fun car to drive some day :).

:) Just paint and wheels away from it!

Good heart and new interior, check.

Never did get to thank you properly for the last fun car I had. Sorry a resounding "Thank you" is all I've got.

I know! Proper gratitude fail. :(

My crust skills are inconsistent if that's any consolation.

So, if you prefer no more of that, encourage all to chill out and be grown ups.

I tried, multiple times to end the laundry being aired out in their threads where JM and the others were bickering like kids. I didn't take sides, didn't point fingers, merely offered an air of advice and tried to have them leave it be. It didn't work, so unfortunately I had to exerce that ignore button on he and the people he is keyboarding it out with, which i've never had to do.

though, on a more cheerful note, welcome to the forum. it really is a nice place to meet fellow rotary people, as well as a place to kick your shoes off.

I love the English language, I'm a devourer of books, an aspiring writer

Funny side note, i'm the basis for a character in a book titled, "The Seraph Contingency." The author, Jen Fales, is a great long time friend of mine :D Very rarely do I get to tell anyone that, bc no one reads now-a-days in this money-per-second world.

Welcome Becky. RCC can be a fun place, mostly it's a place to make new friends and share our mutual obsessions. A thick skin and the ability realize that nothing said on the internet should be taken to heart (or even very seriously) can be a big help. :)

Though like any other site, sometimes the reality of the internet does kick in, and childish behavior ensues. Most of us try to ignore the drama when it crops up, and take it for what it is, people just venting their frustrations in one of the few relatively safe outlets available to them.

You don't need to be tech savvy here. Some are very knowledgeable, others less so. It doesn't really matter. The site is as much about meeting fellow rotor loving people as it is about the cars. We try to help each other out to the best of our various abilities.

Heck, we even tolerate (on sufferance) the heathens that put piston engines in our beloved RXs. ;)
