You realize that's a "drag-only" application, and you cannot run it on the street, right?

dont really see what the advantage would be for it, drag racing or other wise.

For drag racing application, there is only one priority: to slow you down from triple digit speeds in the most efficient manner *ONCE*.
I can't emphasize the word *ONCE* enough.
The brakes have to handle from "dead cold" to temps approaching 1,000F+ in a very short amount of time and cram as much braking force during that short duration.
This is why drag-only brakes are very minimal in design - very light weight.
Brake rotors are typical SOLID DISCS.
The key is usually in the brake pad composition in this type of application.
This is why other key components of the brake system can be of such minimal mass and metal.
These are not meant to be used on the street.

There is no such thing as "one size fits all (applications)" brakes.
Brake tech is a very complex subject.
It's usually you either know it, or you don't.
