Selling my RX-8. I never drive it anymore, and I would like to sell it off since I am still making payments.
I am selling my 2006 Mazda RX-8 Base, a credit union has the title and will sign it over when payment is received.

Car is in excellent condition. Nearly mint and much better than 90% of the RX-8's for sale here on CL. I have owned many, many Mazda's and rotary cars, so I know how to take care of them. This RX-8 is a base model which I preferred since it does not have any of the heavy accessories that weigh the car down. It has the factory Aero package. RARE color, Phantom Blue, only offered in 2006. I get compliments on the car and the color EVERY time I drive it. Since it is a base, it has cloth seats, and no sunroof. Also does not have DSC or Stability control. Otherwise, PW, PL, cold A/C, AM/FM CD 6 speaker stereo, 2 flip key remotes, etc. Also, still has the original, unused Mazda Flat Tire Roadside Service Kit in the trunk! Only flaw is in the interior, part of the seat on the driver side. Some of the material is getting loose. I can take pictures since it is hard to describe, and the very common cracks on the passenger side airbag cover (cheap on eBay).
Still under warranty until September 2014, or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first). Currently has 60,000 miles on it, and will go up a little as I drive it occasionally. It was just inspected by Nelson Mazda, receiving a perfect bill of health. Compression is excellent, I have the printout to back this up. It was also given the latest PCM flash while there.
List of modifications. (all installed in the last 10,000 miles).
Tokico D-Spec Adjustable Struts with adjuster cables and adjuster tool ($500)
Tein S-Tech performance springs ($185)
2010 Mazda RX-8 factory wheels ($1300, these are $$$ and hard to get your hands on)
Mazda Accessory Front Splash Guards ($120)

I have a copy of the Carfax as well. It shows an minor accident. This happened when it was new, and on the dealer lot. A Miata was parked behind it, and someone didn't set the parking brake. It rolled into it. That is it.
