Alright so this year I will be going to my first DGRR. I was reading about hotel and lodging, and then I read about DGRR's old venue at Fontana and a whole mess of other things that really started to confuse me cus I never went to a previous DGRR. So this brings me to my questions...
I need a room for 3 people for just one night on Friday. Everyone's counting on me to figure out the lodging so I need some serious help.

Is there any places you guys had a very bad experience at and would not recommend?
Also, I read that all the lodging at Nantalaha Village was booked for the weekend? so where are some nearby places I could find a place to stay the night?
Any places you guys would recommend and a few details about your experience, if possible?
Is there like a website or phone number I could call to get my lodging or hotel help in the are because I searched online, but I am clueless.

Thanks~

Microtel is about 5~10 min away. That's your best bet. they're matching the lodge promotion. stay 2 nights get one free.

+1 on the Microtel. I stayed there last year. Free breakfast, lots of parking and close to
the event and gas.
