Passenger Foot Rest (FD3s)

Inspired by the Passenger Footrest only offered in the Spirit R (RHD), we designed our own footrest. In our version we have designed it to fit LHD cars and dimple died all the cut out. The dimple die technique is often used in race cars to help reduce weight. You will see racers cut circles out of sheet metal to reduce the weight but they will also dimple die the hole to add a 3rd dimension to increase strength. We used this to increase the strength of our footrest and....... for styling points too!
