Hello all,
I am contemplating the sale of my Red S5 T2. I bought the car five years ago in 2007 and it has served me very well. I drive it only during the summer and always store it in my garage.
The car has been adapted for autocross and has several other functional and aesthetic modifications- I will only post the list for interested parties.
I hope to get $7,500 for it but would entertain any reasonable offers.
I am located in Rochester, NY.

you think the car would make a 13 hour drive, it would hurt me to put that many miles on it. how is the motor?

Bump for a nice FC... I lived in Rochester and sure do miss "Garbage/Hot" plates.

Very clean looking FC, good luck with the sale. Was this originally a T2 from the factory or was it an S5 NA to T2 conversion? Reason I ask is there are a few things showing in the pictures that indicate it might have been a conversion at some point. For example, the tach reads up to 9K RPMs which is consistent with an S5 NA, while the S5T2 tachs only go up to 8K RPMs. Also the ABS pump is missing (standard eq. on S5T2's), which in itself is pretty common (I removed & bypassed the leaky ABS pump in my own '89T2), but I don't see any signs of an ABS bypass job in the hard brake lines and the master cylinder looks like the one in the non-ABS S5 NA's.

Looks like it has some nice goodies on it like vent visors, rad, rad hoses, camber plates, etc. What suspension does it have? Could you please post a picture of the sticker on the door sill?
Thanks!

The radiator looks identical to my Koyo N-flow rad, and the battery has obviously been relocated. I like that front lip spoiler - looks almost identical to the factory S5 piece, except his has the brake cooling duct slots that the stocker lacks.

Hi all, sorry for the late reply.
LawDiesel: The car makes it anywhere I take it- I drive it between Rochester to Watkins Glen, Buffalo, and occasionally down to Long Island. Motor has never failed me.
Pete 98T2: It is an original T2 and not converted. I swapped in the NA tach because I didn't like the stock 8k limit and pulled the ABS when the pump failed. The MC is from the 929 and all hardlines were replaced with the copper-nickel material. And yes, that is the Koyo N-flow. Battery has been moved to the passenger bin.
FerociousP: Suspension was one of the custom AWR Bilstein units and uses their camber plates and adjustable front sway bar. I replaced all bushings a couple years ago with the hardened rubber parts, powdercoated the rear subframe and used all new bolts or re-zinced bolts. I'll post the door sticker soon.

Door sticker with VIN code. There were a lot of owners before me but not too much abuse to the car.

JRooks: About 85,000.
I will be posting a build thread about this car pretty soon to develop some more interest. Fortune has stacked against me and I may have to part with this car a lot sooner than I would like.
