Alrighty guys, since my company could not sponsor DGRR this year, I am going to donate a case of oil filters from my company.
Dilemma:
Which filters are you guys using? (which generation)
I know the FD guys have space issues, FC, FB and old school can use just about anything. And I think the RX-8 guys have a tight fit as well.
So, which ones should I choose? If the old school and FC guys don't mind using a smaller volume filter, then I will get the shorter FD filters.
Let me know ASAP what the consensus is, poll time!

So far it looks like the FD shorties are winning.
Note: it doesn't really matter which filter you use. They all fit, some are just taller than others. So if you win, and it is the short filters, but your car has the long filters, you can use them without issue.

Arent the FD shorty filters still smaller than the rx8s though?
Either way, if you own more than one rx model, you're in good shape...

No.
Years ago when Dana Corporation owned us, I guess you could have said yes. Dana owned Clevite, Ferderal Mogul, Wix, Spicer, and a few other companies.
Since the early 2000's we have been on our own, private ownership. Federal Mogul is right down the street though! And reddozen works for them!!
These filters are the next best thing to the dealership. They are painted silver and have no logos or print on them (special).

I think I've used them before on a chevy 350, lol.. my dad used to get these filters that were silver w/ no logos from some guy he worked with. Oh well.. I've used WIX before and they seemed pretty good too... this will be a nice raffle though for sure!

I was wondering since I think I've seen some Beck/Arnley brake products in the warehouse before. I work at F-M Aftermarket DC in AL.
